NIM Joins Forces with IEA TCP IETS to Drive Industrial Decarbonisation

The Net-Zero Industries Mission (NIM) is proud to announce its collaboration with the IEA Technology Collaboration Programme (TCP) on Industrial Energy-Related Technologies and Systems (IETS). This partnership marks a significant step forward in addressing the global challenge of transforming hard-to-abate industries towards radical greenhouse gas (GHG) mitigation.

Achieving climate neutrality in these sectors requires innovative technologies and net-zero solutions to be developed, demonstrated, and scaled up rapidly. Beyond the technical and techno-economic aspects, international efforts must also tackle non-technological barriers to success. Critical issues such as financing, business models, system impacts, policy instruments, and risk management are at the forefront of our shared mission.

Introducing Task XXIII

Together, NIM and IETS are launching Task XXIII: Drivers and Barriers for the Transformation of Industrial Energy, Technologies, and Systems. This collaborative effort will explore how to overcome challenges on the path to industrial decarbonisation and deliver actionable insights through a series of three focused workshops.

The task is open to organizations within IETS member countries and the Net-Zero Industries Mission, offering a unique opportunity to collaborate on accelerating the transition to net-zero industries.
